Pros:Our building is nice, just a shame that we never get to use it much due to mix-up in timetabling and taking on too many students. A handful of lecturers make this course worth while as they are very motivational, caring and willing to explain concepts clearly. Shame not all are like this. Cons:The Library is too small for the amount of students. Wifi issues means that you will struggle to get work done on campus especially in the library. Apart from 1 or 2 lecturers, the overall vibe from lecturers are that they are not paid enough and therefore happy to just do bare minimum to get by. Some workloads in coursework are way too much and very challenging which means more time stuck on something worth just 1.75% of the module (About 1-2 weeks) which then makes you fall behind on other modules. Mistakes everywhere on slides, labs and even in the exam... Who moderates these exams as they clearly are not doing their jobs. Overall a very unhappy experience which is a shame as the uni has so much potential. Maybe reinvest the fees to improve satisfaction or lower the fees and students may feel the course is value for money because as it stands this clearly is not the case. I feel robbed not only of 3-4 years but also a decent education.
Suggestions:Invest in your current students and stop trying to expand. The lack of quality in this course is dreadful. WIFI issues means I am forever wasting my time making my way to uni as no work can get done.
