Wonderful subject, terrible course
Pros:Honestly? The subject itself. I love reading so much so this was the best thing about Leeds - whch probably says something! Pastoral care decent too
Cons:Few contact hours, even fewer classes. Everything centres around who's going out where, party culture, faculty does bare minimum in terms of marking or lecturing.
Suggestions:Less partying, fewer clubs, more teaching. For ten grand a year you should get more than this - I learned nothing I couldn't have done reading books at home for three years.
